The project will enable the design and development of optical NNs capable of measuring and correcting the effects of atmospheric turbulence, which impacts both astronomical observations and free-space optical communications.
Research carried out by Optolab members was published in one of the most recognized journals in the aerospace field, presenting the advances achieved through the Fondecyt Regular project 1221883: COCTELS.
Felipe Guzmán, a postdoctoral researcher at Optolab, led promising research with potential applications in biomedicine and astronomy, and it was published in the open-access journal Advanced Imaging.
